When all feels lost
You’ve nowhere to go
When home aches inside
Loved ones missed so
Look to the stars
Take it all in
Breathe in the moment
Feel peace dear friend
Peace in the knowing
Of your family’s love
Look to the heavens
See your family above
For in every night
I look up too
I see the heavens
And there stands you
Though the distance far
Family miles from sight
When we stare above
What a joyful night

Well today was fun! Haha, we had no water at the house. Well... Technically, we had water, but I notice a huge leak in one of the pipes after I was ready to leave for work. Unfortunately, the leak was near the pressure tank, and there was no cutoff valve before the leak. So, I had to shut off the water at near the pump, which killed all the water supply to the house. =( Oh well! I got to get soaked and find new clothes. Funny thing is, I barely heard the leak in the other room, so if I would have left, the water would have leak into the house the whole day! Thank the Lord, that I found it before that.
Work was about the usual. A few laughs, 'that's what she said' comments, a lot of coding, some documentation writing, and overall a rather quick day. I only have one day left!! =) Yesh, I get off for Easter this Friday. I still enjoy my job, and I think it's beginning to grow on me. There is gonna be a few crazy upgrades down the road, so I better enjoy it now before it gets all hectic. Haha, bring it on.
WOW! The gym was insane today after work. I did my normal workout, but I had an insane moment. I was trying to do dumbbell presses, and the most ungodly smell came upon me. Now, thank the Lord again that I was pressing light dumbbells, but with one swift inhale, I about dropped both dumbbells. I looked and spotted this guy taking off weights on a bar near me. He was doing squats, and I'm guess he must have strained a tid bit too hard. It definitely was not body odor. I felt bad, but man, I had to wait till he left. Part of lifting is breath control, and with that smell lofting about, control was out of the picture. Hey, it was an adventure none the less.
After some deadlifts, presses, inclined press for my feet, and various other back, shoulder and legs, I left like a old man hobbling off to my car. Needless to say, it's stick shift, so I had a good time getting home. =D On my way home though, I got to talk to a good friend, Boots! I missed hearing from her. She's still a trooper. Hurt her arm about a month ago and is still playing hardcore for her lacross team. I give her major props! We both agree that this is hammock weather, and I totally want to make my own! (Bay Hammocks of Nova Scotia) I so want to go up there!
Well, it's about time to wrap up. I'm gonna try to write more. Tonight ends with me wrapped up in some blankets, and a thousand pillows all around. =D!!

Wow.. so many exciting things.. so little time.. Welp, this weekend was a busy one for sure. I kicked started it off with a live band at downtown York's Swing Dance. It was a great night! I enjoyed the music, as always, but also got to meet new people and catch up with old friends. I think for the first ten minutes of the dance, I just watched people dance. One of my favorite dancers is Jason... Haha, he moves so smoothly, yet he always adds a bit of humor in his dance. Lolz..
Saturday was a very new and thrilling moment. Around noon, I left with my dad and uncle to go on my first Pheasant hunt.. Totally AWESOME! We ended up getting around 10 birds, but I think the most fun was watching the dog track down where the birds were at. As soon as he'd detect their scent, he'd go on point and wait for us to flush the bird out. Ha, there were so many times that my foot could have stepped right on top of the bird, and I still could see it. Plus, the dog was so fast! I believe I almost tripped over him three times. Tucker (Tucky) definitely loved to hunt for birds. Overall, it was a really fun time, and I got to have a little more time with my dad. I don't get that too much now-a-days..
So, after the pheasant hunt, I was stuck on duty for chores. Having the Spring Cleaning bug two weeks ago, I nearly destroyed my entire living space. =D Haha.. well, the problem is, I was on a role and then the stupid day had to end. I guess I forgot to mention, I am killer when I'm working on a project. I give it %100 and then some. BUT! I am the worst procrastinator in the world.. Yeah.. I have the hardest time starting things. Granted, once I get going, I do a good job.
Anywho back to my story.. My aunt and uncle (the one I went hunting with) were coming over Sunday for an early Easter get-together.. Needless to say, I, having a mom who loves a clean house, was giving a list of chores and things to pick up around the house. No worries, I'm used to it, and she's not overbearing. All I had to do was clean my room up, clean the bathroom and vacuum.. No biggy.. except my room look like the aftermath of Hiroshima.. Well.. I decided that tomorrow would be a better day, so I pa-diddled the rest of the night away..
Ahh.. beautiful Sunday... It's 1pm, I'm getting out of bed... and.. !!! Oh crap.. First of all I looked like crap, so I covered my bedhead with my Irish pub hat, and set straight to work cleaning the basement (where I live). With a few good hiding places, some duct tape, and a lot of vacuuming.. I got my room up to tip top shape in three hours.. whew! Just don't look under my bed.. ;)..
Well Sunday was a blast anyway.. I had grilled shish kabobs mixed with potatoes and cake afterwords!! Yumz.. It was a very happy moment.. If you can't tell already.. food is like the main highway to my heart.. I just love it! =D

Hold Me As I Dream
Sleep I'll never escape
Yet tonight I'm so afraid
To look into my mind
Past memories forever played
Dreams take my breath
As I wake in cold sweats
Dreams make me angry
Bring back long regrets
My eyes slowly closing
My strength all but gone
Sleep won't stop coming
Creeps closer every yawn
Tears held back knowing
Hardships to come again
Inevitably sleep will come
The torment to begin
Someone hold me please
Alone here I lay
Darkness steals the light
Dreams float my way
Sins cover my soul
Shameful as can be
Past to present darkening
Even God can't look at me
Sleep now taken hold
But I can't scream
Someone hold my hand
Hold me as I dream

A Night of Darkness...
Not much went on today. I finally got my wish for work. I was constantly busy today with more projects than I could handle.. and I LOVED it! There's nothing more rewarding than doing good work and not slacking off. =)
Other than that, I just hung out with the family. I worked out a bit this afternoon after work. With all the hustle and bustle of today, I have to say I saw one of the most beautiful sights. Leaving Rite-Aid, the weather had turned from a little rain drop here and there to sleet.
As I stood there, tiny little specs of slushy ice tapped a tune all around. I couldn't get to my car because an elderly lady and her husband were backing up their car and pulling out. So, I just stood there. Ever notice how when it rains, you're surrounded by silence? It's as if you've been pulled out of reality and placed in on of those old black and white films.
What was seconds seemed like minutes. I remember a saying in "Braveheart", when William was asking Murron's parents for permission to date. Her mother said, "On a rainy day like this?" As it was raining fairly hard. William's response was, "Oh, it's perfect Scottish weather, madam. The rain is fallin' straight down, well slightly to the side like." Haha.. I love that spirit. The rain was coming down, but it was a beautiful sight. Back at Rite-Aid, since I couldn't go anywhere, I just looked up and smiled. When I looked back down, that lady in her car just smile and drove off. I hope one day I can grow old with someone. I'm not expecting it, nor do I think I deserve it, but if it be God's will, what a lovely blessing that would be. =D
Anywho, tonight I was faced with a hard decision. So often, I would rather choose the world's way when I'm struggling. It seems easier, faster, but in the end, I'm left broken again. Well, I fought my choices tonight and should've never let my mind ponder it more. However, I am human. Let's just say, tonight, I'm going to bed and with that I'm choosing God's way. I pray tomorrow I am strong enough to do the same.
Night, and God Bless.. Slán...

Weekend Recap
Sitting at the office, 2:30pm finally rolled around. Yes, I was finally free. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but the weekend was finally here! This wasn't like a typical Friday at the office. Normal Fridays end around 4:30pm, but we had a company-wide meeting at 3pm. I love those! That means, we get off work early and get to hear what's going on with the company financially and growth wise. Great times.. =)
Ok, so I get excited about the little things. Eh, I've always been a happy person, and it's the little things that count.. Right? Anywho, I think it does. So back to the 'Yay! It's Friday'. If you don't know me, here's a bit of insight as to one of my favorite hobbies: I love to dance. Almost every Friday and Saturday I go out and dance. A typical night out, I get to catch up with some friends, but most of the time I'm there to dance. Dancing is more than just holding a woman and moving
your feet, it's a connection. When you dance, you connect with someone in a way that builds a trust. It's a bond that can build a lasting friendship; one that's beyond words.
What made Friday very awesome was seeing Ashley and Sarah there. I haven't seen those two in soo long. We spent over an hour just catching up. Then came Ryan, Beth, Melody and Kara. I always have fun around those four. =) With all the conversations, I didn't start dancing until about 10:30pm, and the dance started at 9pm. Melody and I worked on some of our aerials. We are getting really good. In two weeks, Melody and I are going to Penn State to show a dance class a demonstration of swing! I can't wait.
As the night ended, I was able to catch up with what's happening in Sarah's life, and I'm glad she's in Philly! I will definitely be praying for her, and the new job she starts tomorrow. Ashley soon finds out if she passed her cert, and I hope she does!! Ryan is his same awesome self, and Beth and Melody are always chipper and fun. Melody has a play coming up called "Godspell"! I am soo going to see her.
As the night ended around midnight, we said our goodbyes. Kara was feeling tired from the day, and of course I had to keep bugging her. It's what I do, and I do it well. =D Last moment I remember is my head hitting the pillow as I thank God for a wonderful night.
Saturday comes rolling in late. I looked at the clock and it was afternoon already! I texted Boots to see what she's up to and made it upstairs. That's about as far as I got. "The Patriot" and "Braveheart" came on back to back, and I was sucked in. I love those movies! Also, my fam was sitting with me, so it was great to have a movie time with them.
After the movies were over, it was time to pick up my dancing shoes and hit the road. I met up with Kara, Ryan and Beth again up for another night of dancing! The best part, Ryan won a dance competition!! How cool is that! =) One of my other favorite moments was dancing with Danielle. We moved in sync together without one word. Of course, I couldn't help laughing here and there, but it was a very awesome feeling.
The night ended as usual, me driving home solo to an incredible night. Something about an hour drive back home with the moon and stars out, just puts me in a deep thinking mood. I usually call it my G-Time (God Time) because it gives me a chance to really talk to Him. The trip home is always a peaceful time.
I got home and crashed around 8am.. Yeppers, I said it. 8AM. Haha, could it be that I shouldn't have drunk that Mountain Dew on the way home? Nah.. I just wanted to stay up late.. Right. =) Well, I was able to set up this blog and get some office work done remotely, so overall not a bad night!
So, Sunday rolls around.. Today.. What crazy things did I do today? Hmm.. nothing I can think of. I woke up around 3pm.. Haha, I'm such a bum. I did some more office work, sent a few emails out, and found out Boots is from the Caribbean. Totally awesome! But her island and Italian background is no match for my Irish background.. =)

Beannacht Nua (New Blessings)
Come sit by the fire; let the warmth surround
Go and be still; let your memories play 'round
A senseless time, once direction, buried within this coal
Alluring shadows flicker in dance to free your soul
Can you feel its warmth; now close your eyes
Feel the flames heal where the burning really lies
Consume it will; weaving towards all that you sheath
Let your mind wander; take in the scent; breathe
Night growing old; the fire glimmers upon the stones
Everlasting peace; calm that seeps down to your bones
Christ the endless flame that burns for each new day
Beannacht Nua, for you he gave his life away
